1966 Outfits: Air Hostess 12S14.

The original uniform, used as the inspiration for Sindy’s Air Hostess outfit, was put together by Sir Norman Hartnell. He was an influential British Fashion designer and dressmaker, in the 50’s and 60’s (with clients such as the Queen!).

His BOAC uniform design consisted of a navy suit worn with a white blouse and gloves. The gloves was left out in Sindy’s uniform though.
