1985 Sindy: Starlight, 42011

1985 Sindy: Starlight, 42011.

From the 1985 Pedigree Sindy brochure.

The Starlight Sindy did not have the large crimped look in her hair, like in the Sindy catalogue or on the back of the doll box. She has much tinier crimped waves in her blonde or brunette hair. She has soft head with “Sindy” on a raised plate (sometimes hidden in the hairline) on the back of her head and the numbers “033055X” above her neck. She has long rooted hair in a side part and a ponytail on the opposite side, with a red ribbon. Sindy has a “basic body” with a ball on the neck so her head can be adjusted in different angles/directions, her lips are red and she’s got sewn in eye lashes, arms in soft plastic that can be rotated front- or backwards, her waist lets the upper or lower part of her body rotate horizontally. She has click-click knees and can do split both sideways and back-/frontwards.

The shoes shown in the bruchure are not the same as the one that came with the box. The green trouser suit came with green shoes and the red with red shoes, as on Carina’s photos to the left.

This is how most of the played with trouser suits looks like: the pearlised material has fallen off…
