Sindy Cabin Crew Dolls: Martinair Sindy

Sindy Cabin Crew Dolls: Martinair Sindy.

Produced under license by Otto Simon in the Netherlands (the same that made Fleur), these dolls had several variations between the 1970s and 1980s, wearing different versions of the Martinair uniform.

  • 1973-1977 Uniform: Features a grey dress and a red collarless blazer.
  • 1977-1982 Uniform (two versions): A representation of the updated uniform featuring a blazer and dress.

Basia says about her dolls above: “My Martinair Sindy dolls. They have an unusual hair colour – chestnut brown – that wasn’t part of the Pedigree hair colour range.”

Thank you for sharing your photos Basia!

TLSM bought the Gauntlet Sindy wearing the updated uniform, see photos below. She came without any shoes but when sold they came with black soft Trendy shoes, as you can see in Basia’s photos, above.

As usual Our Sindy Museum has done an excellent work when it comes to history facts and details so please visit https://www.oursindymuseum.com/martinair-sindy/ to learn more!
