1) Q: How did you first discover Sindy? A: Carole – I got my first Sindy as a young girl for Christmas. Gina – Probably as a present for a birthday or Christmas age 3 or 4.
2) Q: How old were you when you got your first Sindy? A: Carole – aged 4 or 5. Gina – aged 3 or 4.
3) Q: What model was your first Sindy? A: Carole – A weekender doll. Gina – 1987 Ballerina
4) Q: What kind of Sindy/Sindy item did you dream about as a kid? A: Carole – I loved the houses and beautiful furniture. Gina – I also loved all of the furniture and my Sindy Star Home.
5) Q: What kind of Sindy/Sindy item do you dream about now? A: Carole & Gina – we both love collecting Sindy shoes, and of course we love the fashions.
6) Q: What led you into your Sindy career you have today? A: Carole –Making dolls clothes for my daughter turned into a business, especially with the help of the internet, first ebay and then our own website. We have been able to offer dolls clothes to collectors for over 25 years.
7) Q: Can you mention three people you think helped you there? A: Carole – My daughter and of course our supportive customers.
8) Q: Do you have a special goal for your Sindy work? A: Carole & Gina – to help people collect fashions for their dolls, or to inspire them to collect again, or even just to help people collect reproductions of fashions from the past.
9) Q: Can you mention three people you think of as doll influensers? A: Carole & Gina – We love – “Beauty inside a Box” and “My Froggy Stuff“.
10) Q: What do you love/like/appreciate about Sindy? A:Carole & Gina – we love the every day clothing and the ‘girl next door’ vibe about Sindy.
Anything else you’d like to share with us? Carole & Gina – we have more fabric and ideas for Sindy fashions than the universe has time! There’s not enough hours in the day to do all of the things that we we love to do.
