Sindy Cabin Crew Dolls: British Airways -Limited Edition 2003.
New Moons released a specific British Airways cabin crew doll in 2003, with 10,000 units made. This Sindy was the larger 10.7″ model, produced as a special promotional item. This doll features a uniform, created by fashion designer Julien Macdonald similar to the British Airways cabin crew, complete with accessories that reflect the airline’s branding.
This uniform replica is amazingly well made! So many tiny details like the the buttons, belt, emblems, the red lining details inside the blouse and the skirt slit! Sindy even wears a name tag in plastic on her jacket!
The doll’s body is marked with C (copyright) 2002 PD & T which stands for Pedigree Dolls & Toys. It’s the same body used for the British European Airways (BEA) 2007 retro range dolls and for the Hachette Sindys (they both used another Sindy head though).
