Sindy Cabin Crew Dolls: British Airways – 1960s BOAC Uniform (Floral Shift Dress)

Sindy Cabin Crew Dolls: British Airways – 1960s BOAC Uniform (Floral Shift Dress).

A reproduction doll released in the 2007 retro range, wearing four versions of the British European Airways (BEA) uniform of each era. This doll wears a replica of the distinctive floral paper dress worn by BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) hostesses on New York to Caribbean flights in 1967.

The doll’s body is marked with C (copyright) 2002 PD & T, which stands for Pedigree Dolls & Toys. It has hard plastic arms that can be rotated and moved in all directions. They have rubber legs with click-click knees and they can do split back-/frontwards only. These dolls have a new, rotatable, soft head with rooted blond or dark brunette hair – designed to look more like the Pedigree Sindys from the 1970-80’s.

It’s the same body and retro designed Sindy head used for the Hachette Sindys and also originally the New Moons British Airways cabin crew doll in 2003 but they used of course their New Moons Sindy head then.
