1) Q: How did you first discover Sindy? A: I had my first Sindy for Christmas in 1966 which I still have to this day.

2) Q: How old were you when you got your first Sindy? A: 9 years old. 

3) Q: What model was your first Sindy? A: 1966 Weekender Sindy Hong Kong blonde. 

4) Q: What kind of Sindy/Sindy item did you dream about as a kid? A: I always wanted the Sindy bed and wardrobe but money was tight at that time so my dad made them for me out of wood. 

5) Q: What kind of Sindy/Sindy item do you dream about now? A: Would love a Gayle.

6) Q: What led you into your Sindy career you have today? A: I’ve always loved sewing so after joining Sindy groups on Facebook, I decided to make outfits for my own Sindy which I enjoyed immensely. After seeing my creations my Sindy friends asked me if I could make some outfits for their Sindys…… and that’s how it all started! 

7) Q: Can you mention three people you think helped you there? A: Firstly my mum who taught me how to sew at the age of 10. My partner and my daughter who encouraged me to keep going.

8) Q: Do you have a special goal for your Sindy work? A: To continue and enjoy making people happy with my designs.

9) Q: What do you love/like/appreciate about Sindy? A: Sindy makes me so happy, I just love her face. Also, she is a form of escapism that distracts you from real life difficulties. 

10) Q: Anything else you’d like to share with us? A: I love designing Sindy’s clothes, I get so much pleasure from making my own patterns and seeing my designs come to life.
